  Exploring Islamic Entrepreneurship: Perceptions, Challenges, and Economic Contributions among Muslims in India

  Abstract
  This research explores the economic difficulties that Muslims in India face which are characterized by their low levels of assets and consumption compared to other religious groups. Despite being a minority, Muslims experience a level of poverty due to factors such as structural barriers, biases, disparities in education lack of political representation and discriminatory housing practices. In this context, Islamic entrepreneurship emerges as an avenue for empowerment, aligned with ethical principles and social impact. This research aims to explore historical roles, challenges, and opportunities in Islamic entrepreneurship, investigating barriers, motivations, and perceptions of prospects. The study also hypothesizes associations between education levels, familiarity with principles perceived challenges and possible opportunities. The findings from a sample of Muslims indicate that Islamic entrepreneurship holds significant importance for them and that there is a moderate understanding of Islamic principles among them. The challenges they face are limited funding, networking, cultural biases, and aligning religious values with business practices. On the other hand mentorship programs and access to resources are less concerning for them. Their motivations vary but include factors such as passion for what they do desire for impact or autonomy in their work life independence as well as community service involvement; however familiarity, with these opportunities varies across individuals. Overall the study highlights how Islamic entrepreneurship can empower Muslims economically while contributing to economic development.

  Assessment of Corporate Governance in Dangote and Bua Cement Companies

  Abstract
  This study assessed the effects of corporate governance on the Bua and Dongote cement industries. The respondents were chosen based on their knowledge and experience in the cement sector. A stratified sampling approach was followed by simple random sampling in this investigation. In this study, all of the elements in a given stratum are identical in terms of the relevant parameter. The questionnaire consisted of nine questions, including socio-demographic ones. The responses were graded on a five-point Likert scale ranging from strongly agreeing to strongly disagreeing. The study used descriptive statistics (frequency and percentage) as tools for data analysis. Three hundred and eighty-nine people responded, resulting in a response rate of 97%. The results show that 137 (35.2%), 135 (34.7%), 77 (19.8%), and 40 (10.3%) of the respondents were between the ages of 41–50, 26–40, above 50, and 18–25 years, respectively. From the findings, it is clear that 266 (63.4%) of respondents were male, while 123 (31.6%) of the total respondents were female. The results obtained revealed that 78 (20.1%) of the respondents attained informal education, 78 (20.1%) of the respondents attained primary school, 116 (29.8%) of the respondents attained secondary school, and 117 (30.1%) of the respondents attained tertiary education. Based on the respondents professions, 58 (14.9%), 78 (20.1%), 97 (24.9%), and 97 (24.9%) of the respondents were facilities maintenance, ready mix batch, yard workers, and production team, respectively, while 39 (10%) and 20 (5.1%) of the respondents were both plant welders and plant supervisors, respectively. The finding revealed that 196 (50.4%) of the respondents unanimously agreed that procedures and structures were put in place appropriately to minimize conflicts of interest in both cement companies. The result shows that 252 (64.8%) of the respondents strongly agree that poor or inadequate application of corporate governance leads to poor financial performance in the cement industry. The responses of the respondents revealed that both companies Based on the findings, almost all of the 330 respondents (84.8%) agree that directors and advisers are free from the influence of others. Most of these respondents were yard workers, ready-mix Batch workers, and Plant welders from both companies. From the results obtained, two hundred and fifteen (55.3%) of the respondents strongly agreed that there was relevance to corporate governance in achieving better financial performance in cement production companies.

  In a current scenario shopping intentions has been increased by the female customers. Mostly female millennial`s purchasing has become a fashion way of living. Incredible growth in a apparel industry and the females were enhancing towards fashion and day-to-day apparel needs of the females were increased. Females were interested in stylish. This study is focused on perception apparel shopping habits of female millennial`s. This study is to analyze the purchase intentions of females towards apparel products and to analyze the impact of various demographic factors on shopping habits towards apparel products. This study gives detailed analysis on the factors that are females making shopping habits on the apparel products. Purchasing decisions on apparel will be differ from the females based on their aesthetic preference.

  Abstract
  Cost management practices are considered important for the sustainability of any business organization in modern society. The Nigerian domestic airlines have been facing an increase in operational costs, which may be a result of a lack of business processing. Based on the above assumption, this paper aims to analyze the operational costs of domestic airlines in Nigeria over a ten-year period. The specific objectives are to assess the cost center and determine the trend of operational costs for the Nigerian domestic airlines over a ten-year period. Therefore, the descriptive survey type of research design was used for the study. Both primary and secondary sources of data were employed. The population of the study was forty employees or senior staff of the selected Nigerian domestic airlines. The secondary data, which is data on operating costs for the selected airlines, was sourced from the databases of Arik Air, Air Peace, Overland Airways, and Dana Airlines for a period of ten years. Both Descriptive and Inferential methods of data analysis were employed for the analysis. The study revealed that aviation fuel is the major determinant in the cost center of Nigerian domestic airlines, followed by human resources and ground costs. The study also established that there is a steady increase in the cost of operations across all four airlines except in 2020, when the cost of operations declined due to the COVID-19 pandemic. The study recommends that airlines should share resources wherever possible and monitor venerable cost centers to remain sustainable.

  Abstract
  The study examined the relationship which exists between intellectual capital efficiency and corporate sustainability growth. Intellectual capital efficiency was proxy using human capital efficiency, relational capital efficiency and structural capital efficiency while corporate sustainability growth was measured using corporate sustainability growth rate (CSGR). The study adopted Ex post facto design and data for this study was obtained from the annual accounts of the 45 manufacturing firms listed on the floors of Nigerian Exchange Group for the year ended 2015-2022. Also, panel least square model was employed for the data analysis. The findings of the study indicate a positive and significant association between human capital efficiency, relational capital efficiency, structural capital efficiency and sustainability growth of manufacturing firms in Nigeria at 1% -5% significant level. The study therefore concludes that intellectual capital efficiency ensures corporate sustainability growth. Thus, the study recommends that manufacturing firms in Nigeria should develop a means to improve their human capital efficiency as any negative changes in human capital efficiency will impact the sustainable growth of the firm. They should also invest heavily in relational and structural capital as it can improve their competitiveness, reputation and bottom line.

  Abstract
  Marketing mix plays a prominent role in increasing sales volume in banks. In this research, we have dealt with the concept of marketing mix and its importance The study aimed to clarify the impact of HMM on increasing sales volume. A set of recommendations have been reached that can show the impact of the marketing mix on increasing sales` volume in the Commercial Bank in Syria. The descriptive analytical approach used. The study findings The effect of the higher marketing mix on increasing sales volume in private banks.
