Abstract :
Innovative Tech Bin is an Internet of things (IoT) based smart waste collection and management model. It is developed with the idea of a "green city clean city". In, India the population is increasing day by day which is ultimately leading to the production of garbage in huge amounts. According to the latest researches Urban India produces approximately 70 million tonnes of garbage out of which 50 million tonnes are collected and rest are being treated. Tech bin is the modern solution for the traditional problem being carried over for decades. It is loaded with plenty of sensors some of them are ultrasonic sensor, fill level sensor, weighing sensors, safety sensor, etc. We have connected the Tech Bin through the cloud services to different portals as we have developed an interactive graphical user interface (GUI) application for the users using the bin. We can monitor our bins in real-time using the Google API assistance; using machine learning algorithms on the data collected from bins we are generating smart routes for garbage collection. Adding to it we have an innovative feature linked with our bin, a game portal build using the python programming language has various levels and different games on it. But the crux of adding it was too motivate youth in throwing garbage into our bins and in reward they get a validation code if they dump 1kg or more, if not it is stored onto their account which they can keep a check on our application
