Abstract
The use of hypermedia as an instructional resource has led to new and exciting opportunities for instructional delivery in institutions of learning. Yet, traditional teaching methods dominated the established academic institutions in Nigeria. This study explores the determinants that will predict the actual use of hypermedia instructional resources for teaching Digital electronics courses in Nigerian universities, an explanatory sequential mixed method was adopted as the research design for the study while Survey research was conducted on 120 electrical and electronics technology education undergraduates’ students and lecturers. Structural equation modeling using Smart Partial Least Square-Structural Equation Modelling software was performed to evaluate the proposed hypotheses, and a semi-structured interview was conducted and analyzed through the inherent future of Nvivo11 to support the quantitative data. The results revealed that Perceived Usefulness and Accessibility were significant predictors of using hypermedia instructional resources for teaching digital electronic courses. The paper recommended that the University management, policymakers, and educational technology practitioners consider Perceived Usefulness and Accessibility as factors that predict the actual use of Hypermedia Instructional Resources in teaching digital electronics in Nigerian universities before investing huge amounts of funds in the development of Hypermedia Instructional Resources for teaching and learning.Key-Words / Index Term

Abstract
The purpose of this study was to ascertain the construct validity of a practical guide intended to instruct students in radio, television, and electronics work regarding design processes and safety procedures. This study uses a quasi-experimental research design and the Successive Approximation Model (SAM) for research and development (R&D). In twenty (20) states, including the Federal Capital Territory (FCT) Abuja in Northern Nigeria, technical colleges providing radio television and electronics jobs were the sites of the study. The study`s sample comprises 782 NTC1 students from fifteen carefully chosen technical colleges that provide RTVEW. 460 National Technical Certificate year one (NTC1) RTVEW students from 11 classes in 11 coeducational schools in Northern Nigeria`s Education Zone made up the study`s sample. Out of the fifteen coeducational Technical colleges in the Education Zone of Northern Nigeria, eleven coeducational schools were chosen using a simple random sample technique. A structured questionnaire on RTVEW with the title "Practical Guide for National Technical Certificate Students of RTVEW Questionnaire" (PGNTVCSRTEWQ) was the tool utilized to collect data for this study. On PGNTVCSRTEWQ, face and content validation were conducted. Twenty-seven specialists from the Department of Industrial Technology Education verified the instrument. Federal Technological University in Minna. In Nigeria, twenty-five (25) randomly selected technical college students offered RTVEW. The data was analyzed using I-CVIs, SCVI/UA, and S-CVI/Ave, and it was discovered that the content validity index at the third round of validation is 0.96. The practical guide for National Technical Certificate (NTC) students studying radio, television, and electronics works underwent a content validity analysis, and the results showed that the instrument met the requirements for a sufficient level of content validity. The comprehensive evaluation process, which included several rounds of expert reviews and the computation of numerous validity indices, led to this conclusion. The results show that, in spite of certain difficulties, the instrument is reliable and appropriate for use in teaching.Key-Words / Index Term

Abstract
The study investigates the digital electronics workbench software and technical colleges students` learning interest in electronics devices and circuits in Bauchi State, Nigeria. It entails for the study to achieved the aforementioned area as follows, two specific objectives were identified, so as two research questions were formed and two null hypotheses were examined to guide the study focus. Quantitative methodology and designs with pre-survey – post-survey method was used as the design of the study. The population of the study consist of 92 NTC II technical colleges students that were offering electronics devices and circuits. It further used a purposive sampling technique in selecting two colleges from the eight technical colleges selected. The method used for collection of data in the study signified electronics devices and circuits interest inventory (EDCII) which was validated by three specialists. It revealed that, the reliability coefficient of 0.81 was obtained using test retest method. The collected data for the research questions were analyzed using mean and standard deviation. However, the null hypotheses were tested using t-test at 0.05 level of significant. findings revealed that, students that were taught electronics devices and circuits using electronic workbench software in the urban have more interest than those in the rural areas, this shows that electronics workbench software can be utilized to compliment or directs the use of real practical facilities in constructing electronics circuits in Bauchi state technical colleges. The study recommended amongst others that; authorities should prioritize on providing materials that are required for practical for the teachers to comprehensively deliver what is expected of them in electronics circuit’s construction to preclude the disinterest of leaving by the students and deliberately skipping segment of the curriculum. In furtherance of the recommendations, among others that, the ministry of education should not relent to fully introduce and implement the utilization of computer-aided instructions in Bauchi state technical colleges and beyond to stimulate quality teaching and learning of electronic circuit’s construction.Key-Words / Index Term

Abstract
This paper investigates the readiness of pre-service teachers towards ICT integration in teaching at federal universities in northeastern Nigeria. The study employed the use of descriptive survey design. The population of the study consists of 7885 pre-service teachers of Federal Universities in northeastern Nigeria. The sample size is 381 pre-service teachers selected across the Federal Universities in northeastern Nigeria using a random sampling procedure. Three Research Questions and Three hypotheses were generated and answered in the study. The instrument for data collection in this study was ICT Attitude, Access and Competency (ICT-AAC). The instrument was validated by four (4) experts who determined the accuracy and suitability of these items. A Cronbach Alfa reliability test was run on the instrument (ICT-AAC) which yielded an internal consistency reliability index of 0.82, 0.88, and 0.73 for clusters A, B, and C respectively, with an overall reliability index of 0.89. The research questions were answered using descriptive statistics and Spearman`s correlation coefficient using SPSS version 25. The findings of the study showed that most of the pre-service teachers have a positive attitude towards ICT integration in teaching. It was also found that pre-service teachers have no Access to most of the ICT facilities. It was further confirmed that the pre-service teachers were Competent in manipulating ICT facilities. The study further indicated a significant relationship between pre-service teachers` Attitudes, Accessibility, and ICT Competency. Finally, several challenges that might hinder the integration of ICT facilities in teaching were found and recommendations were proffered, which include; improvement of pre-service teachers` Access to ICT facilities such as projectors, smart/interactive whiteboards, and the software required for the effective use of the boards. This should be aimed at increasing their Competency in the newly acquired or available facilities and how to integrate them into teaching.Key-Words / Index Term

Abstract
This review examined studies that analyzed the effects of heat wave on human health in Sub-Saharan Africa. Research articles on the effects of extreme heat, humidity, heat waves, and heat-related morbidity and mortality were identified. Temperatures of up to 50 °C have been reported in the region and that severe heat has numerous effects on human health. The detrimental effects of heat wave on the health of humans in the region include declining mental health of adults in low-income areas, an increase in the risks of miscarriage and renal diseases, and a decrease in productivity and social comfort. Other effects include meningitis, heatstroke, heat exhaustion, malaria, and deaths. These impacts are exacerbated by the population`s low socio-economic status and the environmental quality. Some of the adaptive measures highlighted are incorporating tree planting and greening urban buildings, designs, and materials to improve ventilation and comfort, which will reduce health risks associated with extreme temperatures, the need to always stay hydrated, and developing protected green areas where people can find shelter during heat waves. Other measures include improving health infrastructure, health action plans development, improving the surveillance and response systems, enhancing education on health risks associated with climate change to boost community awareness, and preparedness.Key-Words / Index Term
