Abstract :
India is a well established, growing market for electrical goods such as Air conditioners ,Fans ,Lights ,Circuit Breakers , Wires and Switches etc, among these this study is concentrated on Air conditioners. Samples are taken in order to carry out an efficient market study in both dealer and customer perspective , which will help the distributors design a proper system to deal with dealers aiming at minimizing the expenses in the favoring of firms and giving exact amount of support in focus areas that each one deserves. For the study market captured by one Distributor Cheem Enterprise and its product Carrier Air conditioners over a region of Kannur is taken. The various factors of interest are product demand, brand name, quality and service, frequency of ordering Air Conditioners, credit period, competitors, promotional activities, discounts and offers, decision making at dynamic marketing environment, distributors relation with manufacture, transportation issues, location of distributor etc. This project studies affect of these various factors the dealer?s attitude towards a Air conditioners distribution company in Kannur District of Kerala state in India along with Customer feed back based market study using a sample space of customers taken from the market region of interest.
