Abstract :
The government is currently continuing to take steps to accelerate national economic recovery amid the Covid-19 pandemic. Various research institutions are competing to present appropriate technology that can have multiple effects while having a quick yielding aspect (in this case, a high return on investment). LAPAN, as one of the government`s R & D institutions, sees the pandemic situation from an optimistic point of view where space technology in various previous studies has proven to be able to help the government in accelerating the economic recovery. One of LAPAN`s steps is to formulate a plan to build a propellant laboratory with A Mixing Capacity 0f 600 Liters that has multiple benefits and good economic value. This article used literature review to develop theory and proposition concerning (a) the use of propellant technology; (b) the relation of propellant technology on supporting national economy recovery. In Indonesia, this study has never been discussed before, so it is hoped that this study will be able to fill the gap in the literature The result shows that there are relations between propellant technology to accelerate national economic recovery through encouraging the growth of strategic industries and creating jobs by delivering a reliable and standard propellant process technology. Furthermore, this laboratory will also support the national development agenda in the fields of environment, disaster resilience and climate change through the launch of a rocket with an atmospheric sensor load and weather modification technology.
