Abstract :
The presence of the Language movement has a special significance in the life of Bengalis in which Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman contributed to the plantation of the seed of Independence. The struggle against oppression has been a daily routine of the people of East Pakistan. After the division, they are fully deprived of their rights and freedom. Indeed, these deprivations led the people of East Pakistan to protest against illegal impose, the policy of language, driven by Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman It is seen that Bangabandhu and Language movement are two milestones in introducing Bangladesh to the rest of the world. Bangabandhu`s concern about the state Language and playing an active part fasten the activity of political circumstances for the achievement of Bangla as the state Language. Implementing the demand of Bangla as a state language has been possible through stern and dedicated activities of Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman. People fought with Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman and got the right to speak in their mother tongue, Bangla.
