Abstract :
This study investigates the impact of Information and Communication Technology (ICT) in the Federal College of Agricultural Produce Technology Library (FCAPT-Kano). The research, conducted through qualitative method collected information from participant interviews, encompasses diverse of 13 stakeholders, including diploma and HND students from departments such as Agribusiness Management, Soil Science, and Crop Science, as well as academic staff from the Department of Animal Science. Participants expressed overall positive attitudes toward ICT integration, recognizing its significant contributions to improved information accessibility and expanded resource availability. While positive experiences were common, challenges such as occasional technical issues and the need for continuous training were identified. Recommendations for future improvements encompassed expanding digital resources, providing comprehensive training, and exploring collaborative tools. The findings collectively emphasize the pivotal role of ongoing enhancements in addressing challenges and optimizing the benefits of ICT within the academic library setting at FCAPT-Kano.
