This paper explores the role of indigenous knowledge in conserving biodiversity in the Chambal region, with a specific focus on the Sarni River basin. Indigenous practices are evaluated for their effectiveness in addressing environmental challenges such as climate change and ecological imbalances. By integrating traditional ecological knowledge with modern scientific approaches, this study aims to highlight sustainable solutions for biodiversity conservation.
