Abstract :
This paper examines the pivotal role of Indian women in achieving the three pillars of sustainable development: economic prosperity, social justice, and environmental integrity. Drawing on available evidences and theoretical frameworks, the paper argues that Indian women`s unique perspectives, values, and leadership styles contribute significantly to sustainable development outcomes. The paper explores how Indian women`s leadership can foster economic growth through inclusive policies, entrepreneurship, and innovation. It also discusses the ways in which Indian women can promote social justice by addressing gender inequality, promoting human rights, and building inclusive communities. Furthermore, the paper highlights the role of Indian women in environmental stewardship, emphasizing their contributions to sustainable resource management, climate change mitigation, and biodiversity conservation. By analyzing case studies and empirical data, the paper demonstrates the tangible benefits of Indian women`s leadership in achieving sustainable development goals. It concludes by emphasizing the need for increased gender equality in leadership positions and the importance of investing in Indian women`s education and empowerment to unlock their full potential for sustainable development.
