Abstract :
The Saarni River, a lifeline for communities in the Chambal region, has experienced significant ecological and cultural transformations due to deforestation, mining, and climate variability. This study examines the impact of traditional knowledge systems and community-driven initiatives on biodiversity enhancement and sustainable livelihoods. Using a multidisciplinary approach, the research highlights the integration of indigenous practices with modern conservation techniques, showcasing a replicable model for ecological restoration and climate resilience.
