  Abstract
  The nonlinear optical limiting behavior of an organic dye, Eriochrome Cyanine R in aqueous solution, was investigated under excitation with cw He-Cd laser light at 442nm. The nonlinear optical responses of the material were studied, using single-beam Z-scan technique. The optical limiting behavior of the dye chromophore is also demonstrated.

  Abstract
  Single crystals of isoleucine and zinc acetate doped iso leucine crystals have been grown by slow evaporation technique. Good quality crystals were grown in 90 days. The fluorescence of the crystals were analyzed by fluorescence studies. FTIR spectrum reveals the presence of functional groups of the crystal. SEM analysis divulges the structural morphology of LISOL and LISZA crystals. The crystals have good optical nature in the entire UV-Visible region.

  Abstract
  The L- Isoluecine doped Zinc Tris (thiourea) sulphate single crystals was grown by slow evaporation method. The unit cell parameters of the grown L- Isoluecine doped Zinc Tris (thiourea) sulphate single crystals are determined by single XRD. By FTIR analysis, the various functional groups of the grown L- Isoluecine doped Zinc Tris (thiourea) sulphate single crystal is determined. The optical properties of L-Isoleucine doped ZTS crystal is determined by UV-Vis spectral studies. The Florescence spectrum of L-Isoleucine doped ZTS crystal shows the strong emission in visible region at 555 nm. The hardness of the material L-Isoleucine doped ZTS is measured by Vicker’s Hardness method. The SHG efficiency of the L-Isoleucine doped ZTS was confirmed by Kurtz powder technique.

  Abstract
  In the present work ,NBR/PVC conventional composites containing 70phr Carbon black(CB) and NBR/PVC hybrid nanocomposites containing a fixed amount of CB (60phr) and varying amount of halloysite nanotubes(HNT) with 0 to 6phr were prepared by melt -mixing method using a two roll open mill. The effect of CB-HNT hybrid fillers on the morphology and mechanical properties of the NBR/PVC composites have been investigated. The tensile strength ,elongation at break, 100% modulus, swelling ratio and tear strength of the NBR/PVC hybrid nanocomposites are increased by 12.87%,13.91 %,14.54%, 25.97 % and 33.72 % respectively compared to the conventional composites .Hardness and Compression set have significantly improved compared to the conventional composites .XRD studies reveal the intercalation of NBR/PVC chains ,CB and other ingredients into the HNT galleries and formation of intercalated structures. Synergistic effect of CB-HNT hybrid fillers, improved NBR/PVC-CB-HNT interfacial interactions and formation of intercalated structures are believed to be responsible for the superior mechanical properties of the NBR/PVC hybrid nanocomposites.

  Viscous Fluid Cosmological Model in (2+1) Dimensional Space-Time

  Abstract
  The viscosity fluid cosmological model in (2+1) dimensional Robertson-Walker space-time, when the source for energy momentum tensor is bulk viscous fluid has been investigated using the special law of variation for Hubble’s parameter proposed by Berman and the bar tropic equation of state. The physical and kinematical parameters of the model are discussed. The model is expanding with time since q+1>0. The model has no initial singularity at t=0. It is observed that, the Hubble parameterH, expansion scalar θ, matter density ρ and pressure p decreases with time and approach zero as t→∞ and all diverges at t=0. Also shear scalar σ and anisotropic parameter A_m vanishes, which indicates that shape of the universe remains unchanged during the evolution and universe becomes isotropic and shear free. It is observed that the model is expanding, nonsingular and non-rotating. It is also observed that model remains isotropic throughout the evolution and the bulk viscosity in the model decreases with time leading to inflationary model.

  Abstract
  The L- Cysteine doped Zinc (tris) thiourea sulphate single crystals was grown by the slow evaporation method. The single crystal XRD analysis is used to determine the unit cell parameters of the grown L- Cysteine doped Zinc (tris) thiourea sulphate single crystals. The various functional groups of the grown crystal are determined by using FTIR spectrum. The optical properties of L- Cysteine doped ZTS crystal is determined by UV-Vis spectral studies. The Florescence spectrum of L- Cysteine doped ZTS crystal exhibits the strong emission in the visible region at 565 nm. The SHG efficiency of the grown L- Cysteine doped Zinc (tris) thiourea sulphate single crystals was confirmed by Kurtz powder technique.

  Abstract
  In the present paper, a model is suggested to study the temperature dependence of surface tension in liquids and is applied in more than sixty liquids including liquid metals, rare gas liquids, inorganic and organic liquids. A very good agreement is found between the experimental values and the computed results in case of each liquid.

  Abstract
  Quantum computation is a nanotechnology that is getting quite a buzz in the field of technology over past few years because of in polynomial time its ability to solve exponentially hard problems. Alternatively, an important feature is having an ultra-low power dissipation and high frequency. CMOS technologies have some drawbacks in Nano-scales. There are 7 billion transistors in NVidia graphics chip so it is simply understood that it is about to achieve subatomic level. This paper explains the concept of quantum computing and quantum universal gates are also discussed in order to provide a good foundation for this emerging technology. This paper also covers the review of the current experimental status of quantum computers and various challenges faced by this technology are also discussed.

  Abstract
  This paper is intended to the study of antenna parameters of plasma antennas to help the optimization of plasma antenna dimensions (radius and length). To accomplish this, three configurations of plasma antenna are simulated. The observations are taken on variations in the antenna parameters with the different radius and length of the plasma column. Additionally, to acquire similarity with metallic antenna, three models of metallic (copper) antenna are also be simulated with same configurations as plasma antennas. It is a comprehensive study of antenna parameters of the different configurations of plasma antennas and comparative study between the metallic and plasma antennas. Results suggest, the plasma antenna and metallic antenna are showing similar radiation patterns for each types of modals and at all the resonance frequencies, however the resonance frequencies and gain are different for different configurations of plasma antennas. The plasma antenna has become very useful applications in the field of communication and this paper provide important information about the antenna parameters of plasma antenna, along with the comparative study of antenna parameters with the metallic antenna. The paper deals with the different resonance frequencies of plasma antenna and hence reports about the re-tunability of plasma antenna as well.

  Abstract
  Experimentation on reflector and concentrator is required for their effective utilization in energy-intensive sectors. In this connection, the present research work was devoted to experimentally assess the basic characteristics of reflector and concentrator as per BIS and MNRE specifications. It was found that the reflectance of laminated steel reflector was 80.0%. It was also found that the attainable stagnation temperature by using concentrator was 250.2C. The experimentation revealed that the optical performance of solar concentrator was 51.1%. As the optical characteristics of the components determine the thermal and optical performance of the concentrators, it could be concluded that the novel reflector of laminated steel material would be utilized in solar concentrators.
