Research and Publication Misconduct
Research misconduct is defined as “fabrication, falsification, or plagiarism in proposing, performing, or reviewing research, or in reporting research results”. The journal abides by allegations of misconduct. Investigation into research misconduct is under the purview of the employing institution, often in coordination with the appropriate funding agency. The journal is committed to cooperating with investigations and abiding by official institutional or governmental rulings with regard to publications affected by research misconduct.
