Abstract :
Career path is the sequential pattern of job that form a career and career goals are the future position that an individual strives to reach as part of a career. A career represents an organized path taken by an individual across time and space with a horizon. The systematic process by which an individual select career goals and the path to these goals is called career planning. Career Development is the process by which employees progress through a series of stages, each characterized by different set of developmental task ,activities and relationships. Employee development is sponsored by an organization for its workers and focuses on identifying, assuring, and helping evoke new insights through planned learning. Lack of career planning for promotion and individual aspirations with organizational needs and opportunities causes great personal and financial hardship, both to the individual and the company. The study will focus on the perception of the school teachers on Career planning and Development. All these terms are well utilized in the school education system or not, is also analyzed in the paper. Statistical Analysis is done in which frequency, Mean, Standard Deviation is calculated.
