Abstract :
Level of living of country is determined by the level of education, level of health and medical facilities. In this paper analysis has been done to study the contribution of different factors affecting different levels of human development. Human Development Index (HDI) has been used as a proxy for human development. In this paper analysis has been done to study the contribution of different factors affecting different levels of human development. Human Development Index (HDI) has been used as a proxy for human development. The analysis has been carried out at three points of time viz for the years 1985, 1995 and 2005. The purpose behind this was to study the changes over a long period of time.
