Abstract :
Citrus is a common term and genus (Citrus) of flowering plants in the rue family, Rutaceae. Citrus fruit has been cultivated in an ever-widening area since ancient times; the best-known examples are the oranges, lemons, grapefruit, and limes. The present study is based on the observation of the abnormal growth of citrus plant in Indore where the branches and leaves of the citrus plant were showing abnormal growth in with respect to length and colour. It was concluded that this abnormal growth is due to the presence of Auxin harmone which makes the citrus plant grow abnormally and hence this citrus was named as unusual citrus-2.
