Abstract :
We have listed out the geomagnetic storms of the ascending phase of solar cycle-24 (covering the period January 2008 to December 2011). Since, our analysis interval is low activity period, so that the geomagnetic storms occurred during this time of interval, are not very large but they have the average Dst values between -50nT to -75nT. We have also find out the associated phenomena to these geomagnetic storms like solar flares, CMEs, interplanetary (IP) shocks and magnetic cloud (as shown in table no. 1).

Key-Words / Index Term :
Coronal Mass Ejection (CME), Interplanetary (IP) Shocks, Solar Flares, Magnetic Cloud, Disturbance Storm Time (Dst), Geomagnetic Storm
