Abstract :
Acquiring a strong foundational understanding of Mathematics is crucial for comprehending complex topics. Among these foundational concepts, mastery of multiplication plays a significant role in dealing with related Mathematical concepts. This study aimed to investigate the effectiveness of utilizing math puzzles as a means to enhance students` multiplication skills. Through the analysis of obtained findings, it was observed that Math Puzzle worksheets garnered the highest overall weighted mean among the strategies employed, while Test or Quiz obtained the lowest overall weighted mean. Students` experiences highlighted the challenging, exciting, and enjoyable nature of Math puzzles. Such engaging activities are crucial for sustaining students` interest in the subject.
Furthermore, the intervention employed in this study proved to be effective in enhancing students` performance in multiplication skills. As a result, the proposed Math puzzle strategy may serve as a valuable tool for Mathematics teachers seeking to motivate their students and foster an enjoyable learning experience in mastering multiplication as a fundamental Mathematical concept.
