  Abstract
  In this paper, a weighted version of New Weibull Pareto (NWP) distribution known as weighted new Weibull Pareto (WNWP) distribution is obtained. Some structural properties of the new model are studied. Applications are provided using two real life data sets. It is shown that our new model performs better as compared to other models.

  Abstract
  The paper examines the factors that lead to retinopathy diabetes. A dataset of 1500 diabetic patients obtained from Madras Diabetes Research Foundation, Chennai was used in the study and 422 patients were found to be retinopathic. The study found that the family history and lipid profiles are insignificant factors causing retinopathy. The study reveals that smoking leads to retinopathy-diabetic rather than alcoholism.

  Abstract
  We give some basic concepts about some types of near rings, Also, we gave some examples and investigated the properties related to these concepts. Moreover, we studied the relationship among these types of ideals and some other types of ideals of a near ring. Also, we gave some examples and properties related to those concepts. Moreover, we studied some of the properties and relations between this type and other types of ideals in the near ring .we, Ideal, completely semi prime ideal, completely prime ideal, and some other basic concepts.

  Abstract
  The hospitality industry is growing not only in volume but in usage of technology as well. To keep pace with growing customer expectations, hotel industry needs to adapt quickly to ever changing customer preferences. This requires extensive use of analytics, driven by statistical methods, information technology and tools. Customer delight and the resulting high occupancy are the levers the hoteliers have, to stay competitive and improve profitability. In this article we discuss the preferences and views of the respondents about their likes and dislikes regarding the hospitality industry (star hotels). The primary data collected was analysed statistically with almost all attributes of preferences and the results are discussed in detail which will help the hospitality industry in making the right investment decisions. The approach is based on use of powerful multivariate statistical techniques like factor analysis to arrive at the conclusions. The statistical computations are analysed using SPSS (IBM-PASW) tool.

  Abstract
  This paper deals with the estimation of a finite population mean under two-phase sampling in presence of two auxiliary variables. A ratio-type estimator is proposed and its approximate properties are presented. An empirical study is carried out using three natural populations to compare the performance of the proposed estimator with other estimators discussed in this paper.

  Abstract
  The aim of this paper is to study the behaviour of non-neighbor harmonic index of graphs with respect to the removal of pendant edge and an edge with maximal weight. The non-neighbor harmonic index for the subdivision graphs are computed and discussed in detail.

  Abstract
  In this paper, we have introduced a weighted model of the Quasi Lindley Distribution (QLD) as a new generalization of QLD. Statistical properties of this new distribution are derived and the model parameters are estimated by Maximum Likelihood (ML) estimation technique. Finally, the model is examined with an application to real life data.
